Meet Timothy Springer. The 30-year-old Somerville man allegedly walked into the Cedar Street home of a stranger to use the bathroom at 2:39 a.m. on Sunday.
When police showed up, they allegedly saw an "extremely
intoxicated" Springer sitting on the toilet with his pants around his
ankles. He allegedly said, "What's the problem, I'm not shitting. I'm
just pissing, I sit down when I piss!"
Residents of the house were awakened and stood huddled along the stairway in shock, police said. None of them knew Springer, police said.
Springer pointed at one man and said "I know the guy," while slowly fastening his pants, police said.
The victim told police he might have left the door unlocked.
Springer was arrested and charged with breaking and entering for a misdemeanor.
