When you switch to the new site, I hope you keep the old one around. A lot of people have linked to these old articles and their comments.

Will the new web site make it easier to locate old stories? Currently the only way I can find to locate an old story is to either a) look it up by author, unfortunately I usually don't know who the author was or b) scroll through pages and pages of stories until you (maybe) come to it. A better search mechanism would be wonderful!

Good idea! This why, all the other parasitic sites will stop stealing stuff from this place.

There's a "Search the Somerville News" form at the bottom of the right column. It invokes Google, with results limited to this newspaper. Have you tried it?
