it *is* funny

That yellow house with red shutters is one of my favorite buildings in Somerville, but I can't tell if it's the Russell House or not. The brick building with the funky cellar? What's that one? I heard from my neighbor that the bike tour was a lot of fun. Great job to the organizers.

In order, the photos are:

- Grace Episcopal Church, 160 High Street, Medford (a few blocks west of Medford Square)

- Somerville City Hall, where the ride began

- Slave Quarters at the Isaac Royall House, 15 George Street, Medford

- Russell House, 58 Sycamore Street, Somerville (just north of the bridge over the railroad tracks)

Thank you very much, Elizabeth Bernardi and Somerville News, for this article. I look forward to reading the print edition on Wednesday.

I believe an additional photo was added to this article after I wrote my first reply. The photos, in order, are now:

- Grace Episcopal Church
- Somerville City Hall
- Slave Quarters at the Royall House
- The Royall House (east facade)
- Russell House

One minor correction: the Somerville Bicycle Committee hosts the 'Tour de Somerville' ride each year in October, not September. We have not yet determined the date of this year's fall ride, but it will be on an October Saturday some time after Columbus Day weekend. Keep an eye out for our announcement later this year.
