Bolton

With all the books published on all topics, we get a review of this book. Why? What's so special about this book? Yes, nature is good. Nature generates us, but nature also kills us. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to talk about death in this society, only to watch it on TV all the time as something that happens to "others". Are we ready to accept death together with nature? It doesn't seem so. We want connection with nature, but we want nothing to do with death; yet, death is integral part of nature.

High Praise for The Somerville News

One reason is the gentleman is a local writer and local writers do not get much coverage in the press. He is also well-respected in scientfic circles and as a travel-writer, and lastly I think it is a good book.

I don't think there is denial of death with nature in the book... I think by our divorce from nature we are much more likely to be in denial of death after all death is in nature--nature is in death...
