Today at 3:34 p.m., Nancy Curtatone, wife of Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone, gave birth to a 6-pound, 12-ounce baby boy. The 20-inch boy and mother are resting comfortably at Melrose Wakefield Hospital. Through a spokesman, the mayor said he would not be taking paternity leave. No name has yet been chosen.
What rumors are you talking about? He is the Mayor. It isn't easy for a top executive to take Paternity leave. As an elected official, who would take his place while he was on leave? Plus how many men actually take paternity leave anyway? I don't see anything strange about this at all. Why do people have to make trouble over the smallest things?
Congratulations to the Curtatone Family.
