Greer Swiston

This article was only recently brought to my attention. I can sympathize that the event was quite hectic and I was impressed that the reporters were able to navigate through all the confusion.

However, I must point out a few inaccurate facts.

My name is Greer Tan Swiston, and I am not a State Representative of Massachusetts ... yet. I am indeed from Newton and I am indeed Republican.

I had said that I was the first Asian American woman to ever RUN for the State Representative seat in Massachusetts and I was indeed supported by Governor Romney and Lt. Governor Healey. They were both very helpful in my campaign. It was an honor to be their representative at the show and to present the letter and proclamation.
