I played Vox Continental with an r&b band - The Cops n' Robbers - in the 1960s. I co.wrote some songs with the lead singer and one of them, 'You'll Never Do It Baby', was covered by The Pretty Things. I have just discovered that the song was also covered by The Lyres. I just wanted to say that, even though Phil May's total effing laziness in not bothering to learn the full lyric has been passed on through the Lyres's vocal, theirs, The Lyres, is the best version ever. Can someone who knows them pass on my thanks to them. They have made a hairy old r&b geezer very happy.

All best wishes,
