On Sunday, April 3, the Cambridge Arts Council heralds in a number of poetry celebrations and readings with the 2nd Annual Poetry Festival, curated by Cambridge Poet Populist Jean-Dany Joachim.
In addition to the Poetry Festival, all through April, you'll be hearing from the finalists for the next Cambridge Poet Populist. They will be giving readings around Cambridge prior to the election deadline of Friday, April 29.
The finalists kick-off the Poetry Festival by showcasing their talents with individual readings followed by a brief Q&A. The Festival continues throughout the day at different venues, including Jill Brown-Rhone Park in Central Square, Cambridge Public Library (main branch), The Harvard Coop, and the José Mateo Ballet Theatre with readings by local poets and writers.See the Poetry Festival schedule for details Poetry Festival schedule.
