Cambridge DPW Worker Arrested

City of Cambridge Department of Public Works employee Vincent Best, 43 of 171 Columbia Street was arrested on Broadway in Cambridge Wednesday at approximately 12:48 p.m. for Larceny over $250 (two bicycles).

 

Witnesses allegedly observed the DPW worker stealing two bicycles by cutting the lock of a bicycle and putting two bicycles into the back of his truck, and fleeing the scene.

 

Best was also found to have a default warrant out of Dorchester District Court for association member embezzle over $250.

 

Best works Monday-Friday for the Cambridge DPW and he is also allegedly being accused of committing this crime while on city time.
