The 2010 Massachusetts State Election will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2010. The polls will be open on Election Day from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Attached is a list of Cambridge Polling locations. A list of candidates is posted on the Cambridge Election Commission website, www.cambridgema.gov/election/.
Absentee Ballots are available at the Cambridge Election Commission office. Any voter who is unable to go to the polls on Election Day due to physical disability, religious belief or absence from the City may request an Absentee Ballot from the Commission. The deadline to apply for an Absentee Ballot is Monday, November 1, 2010 at Noon. Absentee Ballots may be mailed to voters, or such voters may choose to vote at the Commission office during regular city office hours: Monday, 8:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.; Tuesday – Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:30 a.m. – Noon. The office will also be open for Absentee Voting on Friday, October 29, from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. and on Saturday, October 30 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
PLEASE BE ADVISED that the elevator at 51 Inman Street is currently undergoing renovations. If you need to visit the Election Commission and require the use of an elevator, please utilize the basement entrance and someone from the staff will assist you.
