The East Cambridge Business Association (ECBA) is proud to present The East Cambridge Business Association “Smoke This” Rib Fest 2010, on Sunday October 17, 2010 from 12:00 noon – 4:00pm. The Rib Fest and Street Food Fair will take place on Cambridge Street (between Fulkerson Street and Sixth Street). The Rib Fest will be a culinary showdown pitting pit master against pit master for the title of the best ribs in town.
Join East Side Bar and Grille, Atwood’s Tavern, Pug’s Bar and Grill, Tupelo, Oleana, Formaggio Kitchen, Hungry Mother, and Bambara as they compete for $500 towards their favorite charity and a chance for BBQ glory!
The ECBA “Smoke This” Rib Fest 2010 is for all ages so come and enjoy some BBQ. If BBQ isn’t your “thing”, don't worry, there is still plenty of food and fun to be had. Each team will be selling a dish of their own, showcasing their restaurant's menu. This special event is a perfect opportunity to get a taste of the local fare in East Cambridge. In addition, The East End House will provide some fun and games for the kids.
Tickets will be sold in advance of the event, beginning on September 8th. For $15 you will be able to sample ribs from a growing list of teams and get a chance to vote for your favorite.
