The Cambridge Rindge & Latin (CRLS) "Class of 78" Reunion held last Friday evening and was a complete success.
Reunion organizer Maura McCaffrey-Lewis got in touch with close to one hundred "Class of 78 graduates" of CHLS through Facebook. They celebrated throughout
the night reminiscing their happy high-school days of the 70's and even passing around year books to gather more autographs that were missed thirty-two years ago. The event packed the outdoor patio as well as the function room of the reunion that was held at Paddy's Pub on Walden Street in North Cambridge.

Sal DiDomenico won the rematch.
In a second meeting in five months, DiDomeico defeated Cambridge lawyer Tim Flaherty in a race for a state senate seat that covers two precincts in wards one and two in Somerville. DiDomenico beat Flaherty in a democratic primary yesterday after beating him by 125 votes in April to succeed Anthony Galluccio, who resigned his seat from jail after a probation violation.

A Boston man has pled guilty in connection with the 2006 shooting death of Corey Davis, 19, in Cambridge, Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone informed the public today.
Sherrod Bright, 26, pled guilty today to charges of manslaughter and accessory before the fact. Middlesex Superior Court Judge Hamlin sentenced Bright to 10 years in State Prison, followed by 10 years probation.
