The 17th Annual Old Time Baseball Game - Thursday, August, 26th at 7 p.m. at St. Peter's Field in Cambridge.
This year, the Old Time Baseball Game is being played in support of The Marley Jaye Cherella Memorial Fund (www.marleycherellafund.org), founded after the tragic death of Jason and Melissa (Mountain) Cherella's beautiful 5-month old daughter Marley on February 22, 2008 from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). The Mountain/Cherella Family, who suffered a tragic loss at the hands of SIDS, have worked with Steve Buckley and the Old Time Baseball game to dedicate this year's game to help curing this disease, which is the number one cause of death for infants one month to one year of age, claiming 2,100 babies in the United States each year.
As you know, we have helped the game each year by encouraging fans to show up and cheer on this tribute to our national pastime in "old time" fashion. I hope you will join us in right field in Gooch's Corner.
We hope you can join us tomorrow night at St. Peter's Field in Cambridge for the wonderful night of baseball to benefit this very worthy cause. For more information on tomorrow's game, please visit www.oldtimebaseball.com.
