The 2010 State
Primary will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010. For Cambridge residents
not already registered, the last day to register to vote is Wednesday, August 25, 2010 until 8 p.m. The list of candidates is posted on the
Election Commission website. The polls
will be open on Election Day from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Absentee Ballots
are available now at the Cambridge Election Commission office. Any voter who is unable to go to the polls on
Election Day due to physical disability, religious belief, or absence from the
City may request an Absentee Ballot from the Commission by Noon on Monday, September 13th. Absentee Ballots may be mailed to voters,
or such voters may choose to vote at the Commission office during regular city
office hours: Monday, 8:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.; Tuesday – Thursday, 8:30 a.m. –
5:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:30 a.m. – Noon. The office will also be open for Absentee
Voting on Friday, September 10th until 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday,
September 11th from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
